The ritual sanctifies the vehicle, removes negative energies, and invokes the blessings of Lord Ganesha for obstacle-free travel and Lord Hanuman for strength and protection. It typically includes applying tilak, offering flowers, breaking a coconut, and performing aarti to symbolically dedicate the vehicle to divine care.
